Recent Works / Projects
Jura's 2011 Tea Party raised over US$5,000.00 to assist Jamaica Aids Support for Life with their work of caring for the less fortunate battling aids related issues. With an estimated 27,000 people in Jamaica believed to be infected with HIV, with men and women aged 20 to 44 accounting for 65 percent of reported AIDS cases, the Jamaica AIDS Support for Life (JASL) has committed themselves to helping persons infected with the disease by providing education, counselling and other interventions to promote changes in attitude and behaviors, while empowering individuals to respond positively to the change.
